Turkey plus Pakistan have always held each other in high esteem; they have enjoyed cordial brotherly elections for decades over the years the bond of friendship has continued to grow stronger and deeper. There have been a variety of exchange program to understand and benefit from each other's community country.
As part of this exchange program the minister of education was invited to visit Turkey to see the educational system over there.
He gave his kind consent was taken for a three days trip from 4th- 6th day to Turkey.
He was initially taken to Fatih University in Istanbul which was established by the Turkey association of health plus medical treatment in 1996. It caters for students of science plus technology.
It has a state of the art campus with fully equipped modern laboratories, libraries and classrooms.
There was an international celebration of the seven countries plus seven colours hosted there.
The minister availed the opportunity plus interacted with the Pakistani students who gave an impressive presentation at their stall.
He also visited Burc College and was very impressed plus inspired by the educational system of Turkey. As modern Turkey was part of the vast Ottoman Empire, it has inherited a rich cultural plus historical heritage.
The minister visited some of the most famous historical sites in Turkey the Topkapi palace which was home to all Ottoman Sultans for nearly and countries. It boasts of one of the largest historical collections ranging from the the personal belongings of the prophet plus his four caliphs etc.
He then experienced the mystical atmosphere of the Eyup Sultan Mosques which is a crowded place during the Friday prayers.
Finally he met the EDO of the public schools in Istanbul and discussed at length of the Education system, curriculum and syllabus of the Turkish Public schools.
He left Turkey as a very satisfied person. He felt indebted to the organization for providing him with this unique opportunity and stated that it has indeed been a learning experience for him. |
