SUMMER SCHOOL IN TURKEY
Students of different branches of PakTurk International Schools and Colleges visited Turkey during the summer vacation this year. 21 days long visit was full of fun and enjoyment in addition to information and studies. First leg of the tour was in Turkish historical city Kayseri, where the students not only attended Turkish language course but also enjoyed a lot.
9TH DAY IN TURKISH SUMMER SCHOOL IN KAYSERI
On Thursday all the boys visited Meliksah University. Students visited different faculties of the institution and got information about it. University management was kind enough to gift souvenirs for them.
For girls, today's activity was having lunch at the Boydak Holding with participation of Sukru Boydak and having an interview with him. He was impressed with some of students fluency at Turkish language, and answered questions frankly. Trip to Boydak Holding ended by visiting the largest bed cover material of the world. Visiting such a company developed new perceptions for our students.
In the evening performance night was organized for Kayseri people, by Pakistani students with songs, poetry and act plays.
10TH DAY IN TURKISH SUMMER SCHOOL IN KAYSERI
Some of the students from boys section climbed the Erciyes mountain. They experienced the joy of snowball in the middle of the summer while another group played bowling.
Girls section enjoyed with paintball activity, it was quite difficult to differentiate them in combat costumes.
11TH DAY IN TURKISH SUMMER SCHOOL IN KAYSERI
Whole students of Pakturk was at Cappadocia (Urgup-Goreme) today which is quite famous and frequently visited by world tourists .Natural shapes of faıry chımneys formed by wind just lıke a sculpture was interesting for students. Climbing the castle of Uchisar on foot was tiring ,but the view of hilltop was relieving all the pain if tiredness.
12TH DAY IN TURKISH SUMMER SCHOOL IN KAYSERI
After visiting Nevsehir next step was for Konya which has the tomb ofMevlanaJalaluddinRumiAfter visiting the tomb of Me vlana who called everyone with famous poem which says come whoever you are anyway come, the symbol of the tolerance and praying we had a Konya sightseeing from 42 floored tower. Students were surprised with the speed of elevator. We left Konya after participating a traditional ceremony which was arranged for a little boy and having dinner over there.
13TH DAY IN TURKISH SUMMER SCHOOL IN KAYSERI
At boys campus , today , students from Karachi and Peshawar had paintball activity while others enjoyed cinema activity.
At girls campus relaxing activities were preferred ,likeebruart,internet time and in the evening students were hosted by students of Yelkenoglu colleges for dinner.
14TH DAY IN TURKISH SUMMER SCHOOL IN KAYSERI
At boys section students from Islamabad, quetta, Multan , Lahor went for paint-ball. While others played football for tournament.
Girls section went for go-kart race ,it was quite different from dolging cars and then a good shopping for their families
17TH DAY IN TURKISH SUMMER SCHOOL IN KAYSERI
First day in Istanbul started with a boat trip along Bosphorus .Breakfast was also prepared on the boat. Wonderful seen of bosphorus, tasty breakfast ,nice weather made the environment unforgettable. They spent four hours on boat and they asked for more.
Next step was the tallest building of Europe (ISTANBUL SAPPHIRE) .After seen of bosphorus ,view of whole Istanbul from 53th floor made this day amazing. Excitement of 4D Simulation of travelling Istanbul with chopper impossible to describe.
Dinner was offered byZeytinburnuBelediyesi.
18TH DAY IN TURKISH SUMMER SCHOOL IN KAYSERI
To be able to see all historical places at the same time is possible in miniaturk, the small Turkey. They wanted to snap all items. Panoramic description of Dardanel (Canakkale) war reminded them brave man and women of turkish history. After miniaturk lunchwas offered by SancaktepeBelediyesi. After this tastebuds satisfactory lunch ,girls visited one of the biggest open market of Istanbul while boys went for gift shopping.
Historical peninsula which has Sultananmet (blue mosque) mosque Haghia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and historical Istanbul houses was visited today. Blue mosque is still point of attraction for whole world tourists.
19TH DAY IN TURKISH SUMMER SCHOOL IN KAYSERI
Afternoon,the host of the Holy prophet, Hz.EbuEyyub al Ansari’s tomb and the mosque near the tomb was visited.He was the host of Holy Prophet in Madina ,and now citizens of Istanbul are proud of being his host.
20TH DAY IN TURKISH SUMMER SCHOOL IN KAYSERI
Eminonu ,which welcomes almost every tourist of Istanbul welcomed our students today. Yenicami(new mosque),Spice Bazaar and sultanhamam shops were visited. For lunch Pendik Municipality hosted our students. In the afternoon a delegation visited Vice Mayor of Istanbul and The President ( Mayor of Kocaeli, Ibrahim Karaosmanoglu) and General Secretary (Mustafa Baskurt) of Union of Turkish World Municipalities while others enjoyed Camlica Hill. The famous view point of Asia.
21ST DAY IN TURKISH SUMMER SCHOOL IN KAYSERI
Before departure from Istanbul, we had opportunity to visit Panoramic museum which illustrates conquer of Istanbul by Fatih Sultan Mehmet, they learned how ships carrying canons moved on land , midnight.
Great Aquarium of Istanbul with fish from all over the world, with its wonderful design deserves to be visited, amazed all of us.
The last lunch was had At BeykozHasir Restaurant which was sponsored by Beykoz Municipality .One of the most beautiful corners of the world not only Istanbul.
And PakTurk delegation has visited Governorship of Istanbul. Vice governor, Harun Kaya received our delegation. Mr. Harun Kaya has given good advice about brother ship between Turkey and Pakistan.
